Completion screening event of new FujiTV drama "Kimi wa Petto"

The completion screening event of new FujiTV drama "Kimi wa Petto" was held on 3 February which was attended by cast members Shison Jun, Iriyama Noriko, Takezai Terunosuke and Yanagi Yurina. The drama which begins its run from 6 February in the Kanto area, is based on the same-titled manga by Ogawa Yayoi serialised in "Kiss" between 2000 and 2005 and will be shown first via FOD from 5 February.

Iriyama plays the role of Iwaya Sumire who is a career woman with high qualifications and good looks. By chance, she meets a mysterious young man named Goda Takeshi (Shison) a.k.a. Momo who becomes her pet thus marking the start of their fascinating cohabiting life.

The cast members wore the hairbands used in the drama during the event  where the actresses praised Shison for looking especially cute and most suitable to wear these hairbands. In response, Shison smiled as if embarrassed by the compliments. As for Takezai who has to play Momo's love rival who is well-qualified in terms of educational qualifications, height and income, he was worried whether he could pull it off. However, Shison praised Takezai for doing a good job which made the latter blush and said that it would be nice if Shison was his girlfriend. As there are no lack of romantic scenes in the drama, Iriyama commented that for working women in their 30s, the scene of seeing Momo's smiling face greeting her when she returns home is probably the best.
